Your child is growing up fast.
Things have changed — and so has your role.

Somewhere around 11 or 12 — or that first year of middle school — something shifted. The conversation got harder. The wall went up. This program is for the parent, grandparent, or caregiver who wants to understand what’s happening and stay close — before the gap gets wider.

This is for you if…
Your child is heading into or through middle school or high school
Things feel different — and you want to stay connected
You want the language to open conversations, not close them
You want to feel prepared before you have to be
You want to narrow the gap — not wait for it to widen
This isn’t for you if…
Your child is in active crisis right now
You need clinical or therapeutic support urgently
You have significant safety concerns
If that’s where you are, take the Brave Check-In — it will show you exactly what support fits your level right now.

Four weeks. Four shifts.

Each week builds on the last — from understanding your child, to finding the language, to knowing exactly what to do when it matters.

Week 1
Understanding Your Child Today

What you see is behavior. What’s underneath is everything. Young people today are carrying stress in ways that look different from previous generations. This week gives you the framework to understand what’s really happening — and why your child isn’t giving you a hard time, they may just be having one.

Week 2
Connection Over Correction

The words we use either open a door or close one. This week is practical and hands-on — including real role-play practice — so you leave with the language and the confidence to use it. Because the relationship is the intervention.

Week 3
Your Nervous System Is the Anchor

Your calm regulates your child’s. This isn’t about being emotionless — it’s about building the capacity to stay present in hard moments. Practical tools and small home environment shifts that make an outsized difference.

Week 4
Your Plan — The BRAVE Stoplight

Understanding what level your child is at — Green, Amber, or Red — changes everything. You leave this week with the complete model, the signals to watch for, and your own personal next steps. A plan reduces panic. You’ll have one.

Connection, Tools & Confidence.

The kind that stays with you at 11pm when your child says something that stops you — and you know what to do.

The language to open conversations

Real phrases, practiced in a safe setting, that keep the door open even in difficult moments.

The signals to watch for

A clear map of what Green, Amber, and Red look like in a real child — so you’re never second-guessing yourself.

Your own personal plan

You leave Week 4 with your own next steps, your own resources, and clarity on where your child is right now.

A community of parents doing the same

Small group, in person, real conversations. The loneliness of worrying about your child is part of what BRAVE is here to end.
